Blurring the lines between art and furniture
We are delighted to announce a new collaboration with talented UK artist SYRETT, translating his mesmerising abstract prints – created using nail polish – onto its luxurious upholstered furniture range.
This exciting collaboration was born out of a shared love of traditional craftsmanship and a desire to blur the boundaries between art and fashion.
SYRETT has always been drawn to traditional craftsmanship, thanks to his background in textiles and a passion for beautifully constructed objects, while his art draws inspiration from his experience in the fashion industry.
“We love SYRETT’s use of colour and unconventional methods of creation. We knew that his art would look amazing translated onto furniture.”
ROOME LONDON
“I’m passionate about art being open, and by creating these bespoke furniture pieces with ROOME LONDON, I hope that I can bring my art to a broader audience. There’s no reason why art has to sit on a wall, to be art. I love the idea of people beginning to see that functional doesn’t have to be boring or unattractive, and although these pieces are technically seen as furniture, they are as much a piece of art as anything I have ever created.”

Two limited edition designs, Coco and Alexander, both from SYRETT’s Designer Collection are now live online.
Both prints are from a series of abstract artwork created using nail varnish and inspired by fashion figures that SYRETT greatly respects.
