We are delighted to have collaborated with MARRIKUR DESIGN STUDIO with a series of collectible design pieces featuring hand painted leather marquetry.
The collaboration has been a meeting of minds and a celebration of unique skills and master craftsmen techniques.
MARRIKUR DESIGN STUDIO produces high quality interior furnishings and artworks combining their expertise in leather marquetry and leather relief with their skills in hand painting.
SUSTAINABILITY
The leather we use has excellent durability and is a by-product of the EU meat industry, which comply with EU legislation on animal welfare, no animals are reared purely for their hides.
It is sourced from the Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium which guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with social responsibility and sustainability.
This leather is tanned using natural plant based tannins and is metal free and certified by EMAS adhering to strictly controlled guidelines ensuring the implementation of responsible environmental strategies.
All pieces are made by skilled global artists and wall panels, cabinets, screens and other forms are available through this meaningful partnership which is pushing boundaries of creatively crafted furniture.
