Norfolk Dreaming
Charlotte Beevor & Graphenstone Paint
Pattern
This painterly design is a mix of hand painted strokes using a number of different brushes which gives a delicate depth and texture to the pattern.
The delightfully fresh mix of greens, whites and pinks are subtle yet elegant colour choices of Graphenstone’s lime based paint collection especially selected for this hand painted design.
Story
Embracing our Norfolk heritage these patterns have been designed by surface designer Charlotte Beevor who is originally from Norwich, and Graphenstone paints which are produced in the region.
A truly Norfolk story, this pattern is inspired by the green forests of Thetford and bluebells that take centre stage within the forest each year. One-of-a-kind pattern is applied onto our furniture pieces individually in Charlotte's signature handwriting style, ensuring that each piece has its own distinct character.
In this limited edition, the pattern and colours can vary, elevating each piece of furniture to a work of art.
Charlotte has selected colours from the Graphenstone paint collection due to its beautiful array of natural paints that are ecological, and their use of graphene technology in particular, which makes them the paint of choice for many eco-conscious creative minds.
“I love finding new and exciting ways to develop my surface pattern design work into product design. ROOME London pieces are handcrafted in Norfolk (where I grew up), which is such a lovely sentimental connection, so it seemed only natural to return to my organic painted design style to create these one-of-a-kind pieces.”
